To Provide excellent training, under safe conditions, in the best possible atmosphere, for a reasonable price.

To Encourage an environment of learning, creativity, and personal achievement for every individual.

To Follow the highest standards for ethical conduct, truth, moral priciples and ideals in providing quality instruction to each student fairly.

The Five Precepts of Yoshukai


1. Respect and Manners - Reigi o omonzubeshi
Respect for oneself, one's Instructors and one's fellow students as well as courtesy to all is the most important rule in Yoshukai Karate.

2. Be Prudent in Action - Taido o imashimubeshi
Skill in Karate is a valuable knowledge not to be abused.

3. Be Prudent in Speech - Gengo o tsutsushimubeshi
As a matter of courtesy and respect, vulgar and profane language are not permitted in the dojo.

4. Keep High Spirits -Iki o sakan ni subeshi
Diligence and total concentration are required in Yoshukai training.

5. Keep Yourself Clean - Seiketsu o mune to subeshi
Cleanliness will eliminate the possibility of offending others and a clean mind is a neccessity for dedicating yourself to your training.
